(I’ve started writing this post 5 or 6 times on my phone…and I keep pressing the wrong button. Yay.) I’m not sure I like the toddler reference in that post below. Oh wellz.
Have to admit I’m struggling with the “shoulds” in my life at the mo. I know that prolly points to something being something… I don’t want them to be shoulds. I want to WANT them. I really do. (Perhaps I SHOULD want them.) Of course shoulds are necessary. But should they be dominant? Should a should SHOULD? (It’s a fairly strange word upon closer examination isn’t it?) Mmm…
Baby steps
This week has felt stagnant…messy…stuck in the mud. I’ve procrastinated, shied away, fallen behind. In the midst of the mess, in the thick of the mud, in the muck of discouragement…there was a little toddler. There were two tiny feet feeling their way forward. Stumbling, falling, failing…but still moving forward.

simple choices

Serving in a church… “doing” ministry… volunteering… it can all be quite hard and tiring at times. Come to think of it, so can just doing life.
Recently I’ve realised life often boils down to a simple choice: keep going or don’t; quit or persevere; continue or give up.
You know what? Continuing, plodding, “keeping on” are underrated virtues methinks.
And it worked!
Very cool… I think I’m gonna like this. It might mean I blog more which’d be cool…
